Bike Bash WV (Big Bear Lake Trail Center) - 2021 Event Update
The Big Bear Lake Trail Center (West Virginia) has announced that Bike Bash WV 2021 is moving forward and is scheduled to take place over the July 16-18, 2021 weekend in Bruceton Mills, WV. Attendees should expect an amazing trail-network, a large venue area that will aid in social distancing, campfires, group rides, skills clinics, yoga, bands, family-friendly activities, and an expo area with bike and product demo opportunities.
This event, formally Dirt Rag Dirt Fest WV, is now under new ownership and will be moving forward as Bike Bash WV. The venue owners will host the festival on the same mid-July weekend as years past. The team will leverage their turn-key infrastructure and 20+ years of event promotion experience. They are looking forward to another awesome festival weekend.
“Although we weren’t able to provide a robust Bike Bash WV event in 2020, we have continued to stay laser focused on building our 2021 event. Even with the uncertainty surrounding the global pandemic and the issues that currently plague the Bicycle Industry, our attendees have voiced that they are ready to attend. With guidance from State and Local Officials and knowing that our venue area provides a lot of space, we are committed to hosting a safe event in 2021”, states Jeff Simcoe, Event Director of Bike Bash WV and Recreation Land Manager at the Big Bear Lake Trail Center.
Attendees can expect a welcoming vibe true to Wild Wonderful West Virginia with trails that will provide thrills for all skill levels and views that can’t be beat.
Join the fun and let your customers demo the latest industry technology, get up close and personal with new products, or if they’re curious - try an electric mountain bike. The technical trails will provide your customers with a challenge and will give them a true sense of how your product performs. Unlike many mountain bike festivals, class 1 pedal assist ebikes are allowed on the trails at this event.

Bike Bash WV will take place the weekend before Outerbike Killington, VT allowing your team to make the most of their Eastern travels by planning several stops. Our venue is ideal for handling large crowds and its location will provide the opportunity to visit local dealers with travel times to Pittsburgh being only 1.5hrs and 3hrs to Baltimore & Washington, D.C.
