After years in the making, Interbike, the bike industries yearly trade show, will offer consumers the chance to mingle with industry staff at this years Northstar Free-Ride Festival powered by Interbike. Northstar California Resort is hosting and producing their self-titled Free-Ride Festival for the first time this year alongside the Outdoor Demo which is usually a industry trade staff only event where people can demo bicycles and bike gear.
The best part about the event is that it's free to the public depending on what you want to do at the event. We spoke with Chris Rochefort at Northstar Resort to get all the event details and he was excited to say it's going to be a fun filled time for any member of the family. Anyone can enter the festival for free and consumers have the chance to demo bikes and gear starting Saturday September 15th through Sunday afternoon. Pricing comes into play if you want to use the lift for mountain access, join in the Wine Walk or Village Pub Crawl and other activities like yoga or the Brewmaster Dinner. Prices range from $20 - $195 depending on the events and activities you choose.
The Free-Ride Festival will start on September 14th with live music and tons of activities for anyone in the area. Then starting Saturday morning, anyone from the public will be allowed to enter the festival expo area where there will be over 60 Brands from around the bike industry. With everything from ebikes to hardtails and even downhill bikes, the resort is going to be the perfect setting to demo any type of bike.
With so many options available to buyers these days, this demo day is going to be an awesome way for the public to connect with brands they might not have even seen before.

Northstar is pulling all the stops to make this a great event. Within the resort village there are lots of options for foodies, kids and anyone who wants to enjoy the amenities the village has to offer. Tickets are available for the Village Wine Walk and Village Pub Crawl Friday through Sunday.
Bike Clinics will be available starting Friday September 14th.
Brush up on your cycling skills with one of multiple ride-alongs and clinics throughout the weekend for guests of all ability levels and disciplines, from road to mountain.
Live music will be playing all weekend long at the Village Stage in the middle of the Village.
