On land you will find boats being built while you watch plus some new and restored vessels. The show expands each year to provide the wooden boat enthusiast with the latest innovations to provide the skills and an understanding of the equipment required to continue the tradition of wooden boats. The Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival is one of the most enlightening and exciting wooden boat events in the world. The annual festival features over 300 wooden vessels, hundreds of indoor and outdoor demonstrations.
