The Stokesville Campground is adjacent to the Stokesville Lodge. It is a wonderful facility that can be rented by special appointment for weddings (6 months in advance), special events or just to camp when the Campground officially opens. It has been the nexus of outdoor recreation in the North River Gap area just outside of Harrisonburg and Staunton against the George Washington National Forest for the last two decades. Check out the pictures below of this amazing property and the happiness it has and will continue to put into so many lives!! This is the gateway to over 500 miles of backcounty singletrack open to bicycling, hiking and equestrian use. The Stokesville Campground, LLC will be offering season passes for the trails, swimming hole and overnight activities.
