MARINA AT ST JAMES PLANTATION

ABOUT US

We are located within the planned community of St. James Plantation and the Town of St. James, however, the Marina is open to everyone.

The Marina was started in 1999 with wet slips only.The first Dry Stack Building was opened in 2001.

The Developer of the Marina. Brunswick Harbor Inc, continued to expand the facilities and opened up the second Dry Stack in 2007. Each Building holds 120 racks on 4 levels and is capable of holding boats up to 20,000lbs in weight.

We are now built out to the designed capacity of 155 Wet Slips and 320 Dry Stacks.

The success of the venture has enabled the Developer to transfer control of the Marina to a Board of Directors elected by the Marina Slip Owners. This event occurred in March of 2008.

The Marina is run by Lands Edge Management LLC on behalf of the Owners. The Dockmaster has many years of experience running marinas and has a well trained staff to assist him.

We encourage you to visit us while you are cruising the waterways of North Carolinas. We are situated at MM315 on the AICW, five miles west of the quaint town of Southport, which is near the mouth of the Cape Fear River and we are about 4 1/2 miles to the Lockwood Folly Inlet near Holden Beach to the west

Our members and guests a quality service and experience in a well maintained, clean safe facility / environment, while meeting and complementing the needs of the community in which we operate.

A financially sound MOA that will ensure and protect the property of the members.

Maintain a clean, modern, well-equipped and efficient marina facility.

Develop a highly trained team with accountability to our members and guests.

Recognize and respond to our member’s and guest’s needs with timely and courteous service.

Preserve and protect the marine environment.
