These containers are also BPA free, hypoallergenic and if they do reach their end of life or get damaged, platinum silicone can be recycled right back into another container.
There are so many uses for these silicone containers beyond bringing a sandwich out on the trail. In the kitchen, the bags are microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe and can even be used for sous vide cooking!
