Included in your exhibitor fee are 5 exhibitor passes (good for one admittance on each day of

the show) and 5 VIP tickets (good for a one time admittance). Up to 10 additional VIP tickets

may be purchased for $5 each).

2019 EXHIBITOR TERMS, PENALTIES, CONDITIONS,

REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS

The Colorado Marine Dealers Association (CMDA) is the organizer and promoter for the Denver Boat

Show. The named Exhibitor agrees to exhibit at the 2019 CMDA Denver Boat Show at the Colorado

Convention Center - Denver, Colorado on January 18-20, 2019. The Exhibitor agrees to abide by all

Rules and Regulations established by the CMDA and the Colorado Convention Center and to pay all

fees as stated within this agreement.

TERMS, PENALITIES AND CONDITIONS

1. Exhibitor space and location will be finalized and assigned by the CMDA Board of Directors per

the CMDA seniority selection process. Exhibitor space and location will be confirmed by

November 1, 2018.

2. Payment Terms: 50% deposit to be included with your signed contract and due no later than

August 15, 2018. The final 50% payment is due no later than September 30, 2018.

Applications received after October 1, 2018, must include payment in full.

a) It is understood that should the Exhibitor withdraw from the show, any monies paid will

be forfeited unless the space can be resold.

b) The CMDA retains the right to change the show dates should factors beyond its control

necessitate such change.

c) The Exhibitor agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the CMDA against any and all

claims for any loss, damage or injury that may occur to the Exhibitor, its employees or

property from any cause whatsoever.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS OF SHOW EXHIBITORS:

1. If cash transactions take place at your booth, a current Denver City tax number and

appropriate licenses are recommended. Contact City of Denver (303-640-4568 phone; fax

303-640-4344).

2. The CMDA reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any exhibitor and to limit the type

and number of non-marine related booths. Exhibitor warrants that it is properly licensed and

authorized to sell the products or services it is offering to the public.

3. Any brokering or sharing of CMDA show space will result in immediate dismissal from the show

and forfeiture of space at future CMDA shows.

4. Manufacturer’s representatives are encouraged to support their Colorado suppliers. However,

manufacturers or their representatives must receive CMDA approval to be eligible for their own

booth space.

5. The CMDA Board of Directors must approve any boats displayed in any 10x10 (or combination

of) booth space. An exhibitor must advise at the time they submit their Exhibitor agreement that

their intention is to display boats in their 10 x10 space.

6. All displays and signage must not obstruct or impede other exhibitor space or be in excess of 8’

in height. The CMDA Board of Directors must approve any exception.

7. Any video/sound/lighting systems must be kept within acceptable levels. Final authority on

what is an accepted level will be at the discretion of show manager and CMDA Board of

Directors.

8. No boats or trailers are allowed on streets around the Convention Center unless approved by

the CMDA and The Colorado Convention Center. The Colorado Convention Center has

adopted a zero-tolerance policy on this issue and will be strictly enforced.

9. All exhibits must be set up at least two hours prior to the opening of the show and the exhibit

must be occupied during all open show hours.

10.Exhibitors who display in front of moving doors will be last in and first out. The area in front of

these moving doors must be clear within 30 minutes after the close of the show.

11. All boat show exhibitor disputes will be handled by the CMDA Board of Directors.

12.Exhibitor agrees not to begin exhibit breakdown prior to 5:00 pm, and to vacate the Colorado

Convention Center completely prior to 11:00 PM on Sunday, January 20, 2019. Exhibitor

further agrees to pay $500.00 per hour to the CMDA to pay overtime charges to the Colorado

Convention Center to assist the exhibitor in meeting this move out deadline.

13.Code of Conduct – Any unprofessional behavior or physical altercations between exhibitors

and/or show attendees is unacceptable. The CMDA Board will review each incident and take

whatever action is deemed appropriate to protect our members and continue to have a first

class association. Each exhibitor is expected to conduct themselves in a manner to continue

the good name of the Association.

14.If any Union labor is required for move-in or move-out, the cost of such is the full responsibility

of the exhibitor.

15.Manufacturer’s representatives are encouraged to support their Colorado suppliers. However,

manufacturers or their representatives must receive CMDA approval to be eligible for their own
