Western Spirit Cycling has partnered with Sun Valley to provide a summer solstice Outerbike in one of the bucket list locations of mountain biking. With over 400 miles of singletrack spread throughout the valley, the mountain biking is some of the best—and most scenic—in the country. Bald Mountain now boasts America's longest purpose-built downhill and 3,100 feet of thrilling lift-accessed trails (including two new downhill rides!). For a milder experience, riders can head to the White Clouds trail network or take the leafy Wood River Trail, to any number of mixed ability trails in the Adams Gulch area. Your registration fee buys you access to the all the bikes, lunches, beer, prizes, and entrance to our evening party, not to mention a 3 day lift pass!

BYOB: NO bike demos with this pass. If you are certain there is no better bike than the one you own and you feel guilty even thinking about riding another, this is the ticket for you. Bring Your Own Bike to Outerbike, enjoy the shuttled rides, access to all Sun Valley Mountain Resort lifts & trails, 3 delicious lunches, prizes & contests, parties, and beer for 2 evenings!
Social Card: NO bike demos or shuttled rides with this pass. Do you or a friend want to come to Outerbike but not ride bikes? The Social Card gives access to all 3 days of Outerbike events (except bike demos & shuttled rides) and enjoy the perks of Outerbike including 3 lunches, parties, and beer for 2 evenings at the event!
Storage bins are available at the Check-In booth, if you'd like to leave some items while you ride.

Getting here:
Flying: Daily Nonstop Flights to Sun Valley from San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Denver and Salt Lake City
Driving: from Boise Airport:
Head east on I-84 41 miles to the second exit for Mountain Home. Turn left on Hwy. 20 (a good spot for rest or refreshments). Continue on Hwy. 20 for 84 miles to the Hwy. 75 junction. Turn left on Hwy. 75 and continue for 25 miles to Main Street in Ketchum. Turn right (east) on Sun Valley Road. The Resort is one mile ahead.
Total: 151 miles (2hrs 50mins).
Driving from Twin Falls Airport:
Take Airport Road east. Road turns into Washington, then Shoshone Street. Continue through downtown Twin Falls to the Five-point Intersection. Turn left on Hwy. 93 (Blue Lakes Blvd.).
Continue to the Perrine Bridge which crosses the Snake River Canyon. Continue on Hwy. 93 which will turn into Hwy. 75 at Shoshone. Continue 54 miles to Ketchum. Turn right (east) on Sun Valley Road. The Resort is one mile ahead.
Total: 85 miles (2hrs)
Ketchum and Sun Valley offers quite a bit of lodging options within easy walking or biking distance from the Outerbike venue and that’s our first recommendation for Outerbike participants. There is also more lodging 12 miles south in the town of Hailey in addition to many camping options throughout the Wood River Valley.
