FIND US AT OVER THE EDGE SPORTS IN HURRICANE, UTAH. WE ARE SITUATED AT THE FOOTHILLS OF ZION NATIONAL PARK, SERVING AS A GATEWAY TO THE LEGENDARY RIDING ON LITTLE CREEK AND GOOSEBERRY MESA. OH, AND THE DIRT BELOW...THE TRANSITION FROM SLICKROCK TO SINGLETRACK, IS UNIQUE TO SOUTHWEST UTAH. THE MOUNTAIN BIKING IN HURRICANE, UTAH IS WORLD CLASS.
WHY DID WE PICK HURRICANE? HURRICANE PICKED US. IT ENCOURAGES RIDERS OF ALL ABILITIES FROM YOUR RED BULL RAMPAGERS (AN EVENT HOSTED ON THE HILLS ABOVE HURRICANE) TO THOSE THAT WILL SHUTTLE THE J.E.M TRAIL DOWN THE HILL AND BACK TO OVER THE EDGE FOR A QUICK FLOWING RIDE.
Weekend Schedule
Ride with us on some of the most stunning trails in the world with Zion National Park as your backdrop. The festival kicks off Friday morning, come get a demo bike and check off some of your bucket-list trails! Then join us for Dutch Oven Dinner Friday night along with some western themed games. Saturday starts with coffee & breakfast at River Rock, then we get out and ride again- someplace NEW! Evening events include a festival party, delicious food trucks, fun games, beer garden with Zion Canyon Brewing, music, prize drawings and giveaways. There is enough time on Sunday for one last ride, shuttle, and snack before the venue closes at 2pm.
Q: Where & When is Registration Check-in?
A: Thursday at Over The Edge Bike Shop. Friday-Sunday Community Center at expo area.
Q: Can I bring my own liquor to drink at the Community Center?
A: No, there will be a beer garden area where you can purchase beer and drink in the designated area.
Q: Will I need my ID to get into the beer garden?
A: Yes you will need your ID to enter the beer garden/expo area from 3pm-9pm on Friday and Saturday evening.
Q: Can I bring my kids in the beer garden/expo area?
A: Yes, the venue is family friendly!
Q: Can I bring my dog to the festival?
A: We prefer that you do NOT bring your dog to the festival. If you must bring them with you, we request the following; all dog’s are leashed, all dog poop will be properly disposed of, dogs will not be allowed to urinate within the venue (please don’t let them pee on festival and vendor belongings) and all dogs will be well behaved and socialized to be around kids, other dogs and big crowds.
Q: Are there any trails that I can ride from town?
A: Unless you’re staying near Quail Creek State Park, no. The one exception is that you can connect into JEM but you have to ride up the highway and then climb JEM. It’s doable but we don’t highly recommend it.
Q: Do I need to get to the venue early?
A: People tend to line up EARLY, but that doesn’t mean you have to! We haven’t ever had a year where someone couldn’t get a bike. That being said, if you are looking for a specific bike in a standard size; for example, like the most recent release of a highly covered bike in a size large we recommend getting in line earlier than the others.
Q: Can I reserve a bike the night before?
A: Only a handful of the bike brands take reservations, but it’s worth asking about! Ask the vendors if they offer a reservation system and maybe, just maybe, you’ll get super lucky!
