CKS is hosting a huge kickoff party to celebrate the start of the summer paddling season. Join us for an action-packed weekend of fun and educational activities for paddlers of all ages and abilities. Paddlers from beginners to aspiring competitors can rub elbows with paddling manufacturers, top pro athletes, and other industry pros during a weekend chock full of education, entertainment, races, seminars, movies, live music, demos, gear shopping and camaraderie.

Check in with Info Booth to Sign Waiver, Receive Event Bracelet and remit $5 Donation.

2017 Kayaks, SUPs and Paddles will be available for demo. Demos are for a limited time and can ONLY be used in the BV River Park which offers class 2 and 3 whitewater and numerous in stream play features, which is ideal to try a new model kayak before buying one at Paddlefest. 

SUPs also available and presented by BadFish SUP at the Buena Vista River Park (Staircase Wave-just up from South Main.) Meet at the Badfish Demo Center at the South Main River Park and come learn more about River SUP and demo the new 2017 river specific SUP surfboards. 

This is for people with previous river SUP experience.  Must have your own paddling gear.  Demo boards will be provided.

Companies will only demo gear to experienced whitewater paddlers. If you are new to whitewater paddling, please contact RMOC for lessons! You will need all other essential whitewater gear to be able to demo whitewater gear.

Parents of anyone under 18 years old must be present.
